The coins are round in shape with a raised rim on the obverse and the reverse. The coins’ edge bears an inscription: ЛЕГЕНДЫ I КАЗКI НАРОДАЎ КРАIН ЕўрАзЭС (THE EurAsEC NATIONS’ LEGENDS AND FAIRY TALES).

Obverse: at the top — the relief image of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus; in the center within the Belarusian ornament symbolizing the good — the logo of Eurasian economic cooperation and an inscription: ЕўрАзЭС (EurAsEC); along both sides of the ornament — inscriptions: РЭСПУБЛIКА (THE REPUBLIC) on the left, and БЕЛАРУСЬ (OF BELARUS) on the right; at the bottom — 20 РУБЛЁЎ (20 RUBLES) on the silver coin, 1 РУБЕЛЬ (1 RUBLE) on the copper-nickel one, and the year of issue; at the top of the silver coin — the alloy standard on the right.

Reverse: in the center against the background of a rural landscape and a dilapidated castle — the images of the fairy tale characters: Pakatigaroshak and the Dragon, and an inscription in three lines: ПАКАЦIГАРОШАК (PAKATIGAROSHAK).
