The coins are round in shape with the raised rim on the obverse and the reverse. The coins’ edge is grained (the edge of the silver coin with a face value of 1,000 rubles is plain with the serial number thereon).

Obverse

in the center – the relief image showing the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus in the circle surrounded by the geometrical ornament; beneath – the year of issue and alloy standard; and circumferential inscriptions: at the top – РЭСПУБЛИКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), and at the bottom – 10 РУБЛЁЎ (10 RUBLES), 20 РУБЛЁЎ (20 RUBLES), 200 РУБЛЁЎ (200 RUBLES), and 1,000 РУБЛЁЎ (1,000 RUBLES) on the coins of relevant denominations.

Reverse

on the right – the relief image of a dancing ballerina against the mirrorlike background; beneath – an inscription: BELARUSIAN BALLET; on the left – the mirror image of the ballerina; and beneath – an inscription: БЕЛАРУСКІ БАЛЕТ (BELARUSIAN BALLET).
