The coins are round in shape with a raised rim on the obverse and the reverse. The edge of the coins bears an inscription: ЖЫВЁЛЬНЫ СВЕТ КРАIН ЕўрАзЭС (THE ANIMAL WORLD OF THE EurAsEC MEMBER STATES).

Obverse

at the top — the relief image of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus; in the center — the image of the stork’s trace against the background of texture of the grass, on the left — the logo of the Eurasian Economic Community and an inscription: ЕўрАзЭС (the EurAsEC); and circumferential inscriptions: at the top — РЭСПУБЛIКА БEЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), at the bottom — the alloy standard (shown on the silver coins), denomination: 100 РУБЛЁЎ (100 RUBLES), 20 РУБЛЁЎ (20 RUBLES) on the silver coins and 1 РУБЕЛЬ (1 RUBLE) on the copper-nickel coin.

Reverse

in the center — the image of the White Stork, on the left — the image of a nest on a tree and two birds therein; at the top — an inscription in two lines: БЕЛЫ БУСЕЛ (THE WHITE STORK).
