Obverse

within the circular geometric ornament – the relief of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus; beneath – year of issue and fine silver alloy standard; inscriptions along the rim – at the top "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), at the bottom "ТЫСЯЧА РУБЛЁЎ" (ONE THOUSAND ROUBLES).

Reverse

in the center against a background of colonnade – image of Hellene on chariot, driving a team of four horses; at the top – inscriptions in two lines "АΘHNA" (ATHENS) and "АЛIМПIЙСКIЯ ГУЛЬНI" (OLYMPIC GAMES), at the bottom – inscription "2004".
