The coin is round in shape with a raised rim on the obverse and the reverse. The coin’s edge is grained.

Obverse

at the top — the relief image of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus and the circumferential inscription: РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS); in the center — an arrangement of the clockwork elements, the Sun, and the Moon, where the center of the clockwork is inlaid with the cubic zirconia gem; on the right-hand side — the year of issue; on the left-hand side — the alloy standard; at the bottom — the denomination: 20 РУБЛЁЎ (20 RUBLES). The inner circle contains numerals that represent years from 2013 to 2024, according to the number of years in one cycle of the Chinese lunar calendar. The clockwork elements and the Year of the Goat (the Sheep) (2015) are gold-plated.

Reverse

in the center — the circle of five sheep surrounded by stars, the crescent moon, and clouds and within the circle formed by the ornamental pattern — gold-plated Chinese hieroglyph standing for a sheep; and at the bottom — the inscription: ГОД АВЕЧКI (THE YEAR OF THE GOAT (THE SHEEP)).
