The international investment position represents the aggregate of economic indicators reflecting the stock of external financial assets and liabilities of the Republic of Belarus at a particular point in time.

The IIP is compiled according to the methodical recommendations of the Balance of payments Manual (IMF, Washington, 1993), International Investment Position – a guide to data Sources (IMF, 2002), other editions of IMF.
