A training workshop on financial stability has been conducted as a part of the EU Twinning project in Belarus

On 26 and 27 June, the Training Centre of the National Bank of Belarus in Raubichi hosted a training workshop on financial stability, conducted as a part of the EU Twinning Project "Strengthening the National Bank of Belarus".

The event was opened by the Resident Twinning Adviser Dariusz Lewandowski, seconded from the National Bank of Poland and based at the National Bank of Belarus. This was followed by presentations by Component Leader Simonas Krepsta and his colleagues Andrius Škarnulis, Nijolė Valinskytė, Darius Kulikauskas, short-term experts from the Bank of Lithuania, and by experts from the National Bank of Romania Florin Dragu, Matei Kubinschi and Florian Neagu.

The workshop, attended by the staff of the relevant departments of the National Bank of Belarus provided a window on the relevant practices in the surveillance of risks to financial stability and management of systemic threats.

The seminar ended with a group discussion and a stocktaking exercise.
