Local combined: a half-tone in the form of a fragment of the main image on the banknote’s obverse; filigreed (light-coloured) in the form of a digital image of denomination "20".
Metallic thread of a windowed type which emerges on the surface of the banknote’s obverse in the form of rectangles. When viewing the banknote against the light the security thread is seen as solid dark line with the light text "Br20", both in a direct and inverse viewing.
See–through register mark
A fragment of denomination on the banknote’s obverse, when held up to the light, coincides with the denomination fragment on the reverse, forming a perfect single image of the banknote’s denomination.
The main image of the banknote’s obverse, denomination value in figures and letters, text "НАЦЫЯНАЛЬНЫ БАНК РЭСПУБЛІКІ БЕЛАРУСЬ" and the marking for people with impaired vision ("blind code") have a thicker paint layer and can be easily detected by touch.
Thin lines forming a strange image when copied or scanned.
Continuously repeated texts "БЕЛАРУСЬ", "НБРБ" and digits of denomination are visible when zoomed.
Serial numbers are made with a relief print and consist of a two-letter series and seven-digit number having different height. The vertical serial number has magnetic features. The horizontal serial number fluoresces with yellow colour under UV light. <br><br>
The element has a thicker paint layer and thus can be easily detected by touch.
