The coins are round in shape with a raised rim on the obverse and the reverse. The coins’ edge is grained.


at the top – the relief image of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus; in the center – the image of a broken watch; circumferential inscriptions: at the top – РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), at the bottom – the alloy standard (on the silver coin), the denomination: 20 РУБЛЁЎ (TWENTY RUBLES) on the silver coin and 1 РУБЕЛЬ (ONE RUBLE) on the copper–nickel one, and the year of issue.


the relief image of doves – the birds of peace – kiting above the Earth; in the bottom right-hand part – a circumferential inscription: 65 ГОД ПЕРАМОГІ (65 YEARS OF VICTORY).
