Commemorative coins "The Legend of the Tortoise"

The coins are round in shape with a raised rim on the obverse and the reverse. The coins’ edge is grained.
Obverse
at the top – the relief image of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus; in the center – the stylized silhouetted images of tortoises and women – the characters of Belarusian folk legends – and Belarusian ornamental patterns against a spinning wheel symbolizing perpetual motion where the wheel’s pattern is changing into the structure of tree rings; at the bottom – the year of issue (and the alloy standard on the silver coin); and circumferential inscriptions: at the top – РЭСПУБЛІКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), at the bottom – 20 РУБЛЁЎ (20 RUBLES) on the silver coin and 1 РУБЕЛЬ (1 RUBLE) on the copper-nickel one.
Reverse
the stylized image of a tortoise along with mythological characters and symbols of Belarusian legends; in the upper left-hand part – a circumferential inscription: ЛЕГЕНДА ПРА ЧАРАПАХУ (THE LEGEND OF THE TORTOISE).
