The coins are round in shape with a raised rim on the obverse and the reverse. The coins’ edge is reeded.
Obverse
in the center — the relief image of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus within a circular geometric pattern; inscriptions: at the top — a circumferential inscription: РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), at the bottom — the denomination: 20 РУБЛЁЎ (20 RUBLES) on the gold and silver coins and 100 РУБЛЁЎ (100 RUBLES) on the silver one; and at the bottom — the year of issue: 2012 in the center and the alloy standard on the left.
Reverse
in the center, against the circle — the relief image of two skiers competing in the race; and inscriptions: at the bottom — ЛЫЖНЫЯ ГОНKI (CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING) and at the top on the left-hand side — АЛIМПIЙСКIЯ ГУЛЬНI 2014 (THE 2014 OLYMPIC GAMES).
