Commemorative coin dedicated to the Defenders of the Brest fortress

Coins are round. The rim is raised on both sides of the coin. The edge of the coin is corrugated.
Obverse
at the top – the relief of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus; in the center – the relief of the order of the Patriotic war (enamel of red and white color on silver coin); beneath: year of issue, silver coin – fine silver alloy standard; inscriptions along the rim – at the top: " РЭСПУБЛІКА БЕЛАРУСЬ " (REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), at the bottom: " ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ " (TWENTY ROUBLES) on the silver coin and " АДЗІН РУБЕЛЬ " (ONE ROUBLE) on the copper–nickel coin.
Reverse
at the top against a background of the main entrance to the Memorial complex "Brest Hero–fortress" – inscription: "БРЭСЦКАЯ КРЭПАСЦЬ–ГЕРОЙ" (BREST HERO FORTRESS); at the bottom – the relief of the main monument "COURAGE".
