Commemorative coin "The International Polar Year"

The coin is round in shape with the raised rim on the obverse and the reverse. The coin’s edge is grained.
Obverse
at the top – the relief image of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus, a circumferential inscription: РЭСПУБЛИКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), and in the center – the representation of the emblem of the International Polar Year; and at the bottom – the year of issue, alloy standard, and denomination: 20 РУБЛЁЎ (20 RUBLES).
Reverse
in the center – the relief image of two penguins (enameled in 3 colors: black, white, and orange) against a stylized map of Antarctica; on the left – a circumferential inscription: МІЖНАРОДНЫ ПАЛЯРНЫ ГОД (THE INTERNATIONAL POLAR YEAR); on the right – geographical coordinates of the location of Belarusian scientists – Antarctic explorers; and at the bottom – the representation of the wind rose.
